A 21-year-old man who is alleged in a dramatic break and enter on the O’Chiese First Nation will go to trial in the new year.
 
Jerome Strawberry is charged with robbery, break and enter, disguised with intent and mischief.
 
Back in October of 2016, officers received a 911 about some people who were allegedly trying to get inside a residence by smashing several windows and breaking the front door.
 
The complainants were hidding in a bedroom at the time but the suspects, who were allegedly wearing masks and holding firearms, entered the bedroom, stole items then fled in a vehicle.
 
51-year-old Claude Mackinaw is also charged in connection to this incident, but is wanted on warrants.
 
Strawberry is to appear back in court for his trial dates on January 18, 19, 25 and 26, 2018.

Trial dates have been set for a 28-year-old man who allegedly pointed a firearm at several people.
 
Richard Chip Francoeur, 28, of Rocky Mountain House, is charged with possession of a weapon for a purpose dangerous to public peace, five firearms offences, poss of a controlled substance and possession for the purpose of trafficking.
 
On March 27, 2017 Mounties responded to a local residence where there was a report of a man with a firearm and that he was allegedly pointing it at several people.
 
When officers arrived, five individuals were taken into custody and a number of firearms were discovered.

Police later executed a search warrant at the same home, which is when they found a quantity of drugs.
