Raising awareness and understanding around eating disorders is the goal of an international campaign which features two events in Red Deer over the coming days.

City staff crafting bylaw changes for mobile supervised consumption services

The City of Red Deer is moving forward in its attempt to be proactive on the supervised consumption services (SCS) front.

On Monday, city council directed administration to prepare amendments to the licensing bylaw for the purpose of facilitating mobile SCS.

RDC is among 17 post-secondary institutions in Alberta taking part in the 'Make Some Noise for Mental Health' campaign which runs from January 15 - February 11, 2018. It will be featured at RDC Kings and Queens games this Saturday, January 27.

Red Deer College is one of 17 post-secondary campuses in 15 communities across Alberta taking part in this year’s ‘Make Some Noise for Mental Health’ campaign.

MISSING: 14 y/o Keanna Will of Red Deer

Red Deer RCMP are asking for the public’s help in locating 14 year-old Keanna Will.

Will was last seen by her family in Red Deer on January 17 and Mounties would like to verify her well-being.

She is described as Metis, 5’3, 100 pounds with blonde hair and brown eyes.
