Central Alberta man's murder trial in deaths of parents, sister set to begin today

RED DEER- After a two week delay, a triple-murder trial for a central Alberta man and a friend accused of setting his family's home on fire and killing his parents and sister gets underway today in Red Deer.

Jason Klaus is facing first-degree murder and arson charges.

Red Deer College faculty honoured for work beyond instruction

A number of faculty at Red Deer College were recognized this week for scholarly activity they've undertaken in addition to instructing.
 
The Recognition of Scholarly Activity Awards have been running since 2006 and annually provide $10,000 to be split amongst the recipients.
