Albertans respond to Brian Jean’s “mad as hell” post with happy thoughts

Former Wildrose leader Brian Jean has sparked a counter-campaign after issuing a Facebook message saying Albertans are angry.

Jean says in the message that the province’s financial situation is a mess and Alberta needs a “mad as hell” party to tackle the federal Liberals.

But Albertans who disagree have been countering his message via a Twitter campaign with the hashtag NotAngryAB — praising the province’s scenery, job opportunities and that it’s a safe place for the LGBTQ community.

Some are speculating that Jean is looking to get back into politics with a provincial election set for this year.
