Residents, businesses and industry will see a zero percent tax increase under the Town of Rocky Mountain House’s proposed capital and operating budgets for 2019.
Council has reviewed final drafts for the budgets.
An in-depth review of the 2017 and 2018 finances and budgets were initiated this year, which allowed a draft budget to be produced that has no property tax increase.
Mayor Tammy Burke says the Town has gone through the budget line by line and has done a service level review in an effort to find efficiencies and kept spending as low as possible.
