Mar 21, 2019 | 10:29 AM

Launching in mid-April, the Town of Rocky Mountain House will implement a pilot project to encourage spay and neutering of cats within Town.

The first come first serve program will pay up to 50 percent of spay/neutering and microchipping for registered cats.

Communications Coordinator for the Town of Rocky Mountain House Laura Button explains the Protective Services department is currently experiencing a high call volume regarding feral, abandoned or on the loose cats.

ROAR, the Clearwater Veterinarian Centre and Gateway Companion Animal Clinic are in partnership with the Town to make help make this project a success.
