Notre Dame hosting Food “Truck” Friday to support advocacy centre

Jan 16, 2019 | 2:19 PM

The Food Studies 20/30 classes at École Secondaire Notre Dame High School will be creating tasty dishes for Food “Truck” Friday on January 18, 2019, at 12:00 p.m. Dishes include nacho cheese fries, sliders, maple syrup dumplings, poutine, pizza mac ‘n’ cheese and more.

All proceeds from this event will go towards the Central Alberta Child Advocacy Centre.

“Projects like this allow an opportunity for students to share their amazing talents with others while serving a great cause. Students this year have truly embraced the cause of supporting the Central Alberta Child Advocacy Centre and this event is yet another way our students are giving back to our community,” said Food Studies Teacher, Jeff Lerouge at École Secondaire Notre Dame High School.

Each year the graduating class chooses a charity to raise funds for through their Grad Service Project. This year, students hope to raise $40,000 for the Central Alberta Child Advocacy Centre.
